While OEM restoration is standard, we also understand that people have different preferences for their restoration projects. How the car will be used after completion for example, may alter the approach of the service and finishes applied. Therefore we always interview our clients before any estimate is made or job is accepted. Not only to get a better understanding of the clients project, but also to help inform our clients with possible alternatives so they may feel confident with their commission.
While we only carry a limited number of clients at a time, we do offer some standardized restoration services. These services are curated from our most requested commissions for which we have built our own internal standardized process. This allows us to offer a high level of service at a more affordable cost.
We have multiple machines running different processes to accommodate components ranging from tiny cast abs pistons to entire subframes and engine blocks. We are capable of running a two part heavy to fine slurry (when applicable) and industrial paint stripping to keep our labor time low and competitive. With multiple years of experience, we are capable of accepting more intricate jobs that require a high level of competence and technique such as Alternators, A/C Compressors, Throttle bodies, etc...
Contrary to what most people believe, Zinc plating is not purposed for ornamental applications. Zinc plating is known as "dirty plating" as it is utilized to provide a sacrificial layer of protective coating for metals susceptible to corrosion. Therefore most plating companies providing Zinc as an option have relatively low level of acceptable quality. We understand how in many cases with automotive restoration, the visual aspect of this plating process is crucial and therefore demand a much higher level of quality than large operations. We offer both barrel and rack plating processes; yellow, blue(clear), and black Hexavalent Chromate coatings.
In an industry full of empty promises and horror stories, we understand how trust is an integral component in this business. Above all else, we strive to build and maintain a relationship with our clients that instills a sense of comfort and involvement. This means always being available, respectful, honest, and interested in our clients. For those reasons, we carry a limited number of clients at a time and are very selective of whom we choose to work with. Full builds do not happen overnight and with the level of involvement our clients expect, it is very important to us that there is a common foundation to build on.
